Support during incidents
Many municipalities have psychological and social care teams, POSOM. They can be called in by, for example, an emergency manager in the municipality.

In a crisis, many people are involved in, or witness, difficult events. POSOM groups provide support to those involved.
POSOM teams operate slightly differently depending on the municipality but often consist of representatives from:
- social services
- the health service
- the police
- schools
- voluntary organisations
- the church
- POSOM teams can also cooperate with PKL (psychological and psychiatric disaster management) teams within the region.
