Original text: During the night to Saturday 23 September, a landslide occurred outside Stenungsund. Large parts of the roadway on the E6 at the Stenungsund motorway junction have collapsed due to the landslide. The road is completely closed. Road users and the general public are encouraged to avoid the area.
Soil, stones, gravel and sand on the move can harm both people and public infrastructure.
The landslide alarm arrived at the rescue service at 01:48 on Saturday. The collapse caused only minor injuries.
The County Administrative Board has issued a ban on access to the area affected by landslide.
The road is closed in both directions and is estimated to be closed for the foreseeable future. The traffic will be rerouted.
