Change to risk assessment
The Public Health Agency of Sweden is changing its risk assessment with regard to cases of the coronavirus in Sweden. The risk of the infection spreading among the general public is assessed as being low.

The new assessment is based on an analysis of the spread of the virus around the world. It uses a five-point scale, where the risk levels are classed as very low, low, moderate, high, and very high.
The risk of discovering a case of infection with the corona virus in Sweden is high, but the risk of the infection spreading among the general public within the country is assessed as being low.
