Important public announcement for Skelleftehamn and Örviken in Skellefteå Municipality, Västerbotten County. There is a fire in an industrial area causing thick smoke. SMHI: Class 3 warning for extremely high flow in the Nissan and Lagan rivers

A Class 3 warning for extremely high flow has been issued for River Lagan, from tributary Bolmån, Lake Kösen down to the estuary. Updated 24/2 16:30

SMHI has also issued a class 2 warning for very high waters on the River Viskan, River Ätran as well as River Niskan.

Definition for Warning class 3 extremely high flow: Extremely high water flows in rivers reaching a level that occurs about every 50 years. Significant flooding problems. Class 3 is the highest warning class for this type of warning.
