National ban on visiting retirement homes

The government has already made a strong recommendation against visiting retirement homes. Many municipalities have already imposed various kinds of bans on visiting retirement homes, but the government is imposing a uniform and clear regulation for the entire country.

The decision is general. The operations manager for a residence may in individual instances allow exceptions to the ban if there are special circumstances which motivate an exception and if the risk of spreading the corona virus is small.
