New recommendation for covid testing after a trip abroad
Those who have travelled outside the Nordic countries are recommended to take a covid-19 test on arrival in Sweden, according to the Swedish Public Health Agency. Swedish citizens are also included in the recommendation, which applies from 12 July to 31 August.
The Covid certificate will be available from 1 July
The Covid certificate will go into effect on Thursday 1 July. It shows that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19 and is needed for travel within Europe. In the future, the Covid certificate will also contain information about test results and recovery from Covid-19.
