Persons aged 65 or older can get the Astra Zeneca vaccine

It cannot be ruled out that, in some cases, serious side effects may be linked to the vaccine. So far, these side effects have only been reported in younger people.
The use of the Astra Zeneca vaccine in persons under the age of 65 is being suspended for the time being.
Even after a single dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine, a person has good protection against serious illness. Persons who have received the first dose can wait for up to three months before having the second dose.
