Weather warning regarding heavy drifting snow
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) warns of snowfall that may cause heavy snowdrifts.

The warning applies from Wednesday night to Thursday around noon in Västra Götaland County, Bohuslän County and Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County, inner Dalsland and Värmland County.
SMHI has issued a class 2 storm warning for snowfall that may lead to heavy snowdrifts. The class 2 storm warning entails expected snow amounts from 12 mm (in melted form) to 25 mm within 12 hours, in combination with a fresh breeze (more than 8 m/s). The snowfall may cause major traffic problems and with temperatures close to zero degrees may cause a disruption in the electricity and telecommunications services.
