The Public Health Agency of Sweden is suggesting proof of vaccination

The Swedish Public Health Agency has asked the government to introduce vaccination certificates for events for people aged 18 and older from 1st December. The vaccination certificate would be used at indoor events with more than 100 attendees.

A lot of people are often congregating at public gatherings and events, such as sporting events, cinemas, theatres, and concerts.

- By regulating gatherings with vaccination certificates or participation restrictions, the risk of an increased spread of infection and thus the risk of an increased burden on an already strained health care system will be reduced, says Karin Tegmark Wisell.

The Swedish Public Health Agency will draw up regulations on what will apply at gatherings where the organiser does not use vaccination certificates. Examples of restrictions that may then apply are rules on the maximum number of people per square metre and requirements for distance between groups.

The Covid certificates that show that you have been vaccinated and which are issued by the E-health authority will be used as vaccination certificates.
