Weather warning: Heavy snowfall and fresh wind

Update Monday, Febryary 21st at 06.47: The orange warning now also applies to southern Gävleborg County and southeastern Dalarna County. The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued an orange warning of severe snowfall and wind in northern Södermanland, Örebro, Västmanland, Stockholm and Uppsala. The warning applies from night to Monday, February 21st, and just over a day ahead. The snow storm may cause limited road accessibility.

The storm is expected to cause disruptions to road, train and air traffic. Moreover, electricity and telecommunication may be affected.
