Due to changes in the security situation, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Utrikesdepartementet or UD) has decided to change its travel advisories to the Turkish border regions to Syria and Iraq. The decision means that the advisory regarding Diyarbakir city is lifted.
Sweden to lift ban on entry from all countries
The ban on entry into Sweden from countries outside the EU/EEA will cease to apply on 1 April 2022. This also means that vaccination and test certificates will then no longer be required when entering Sweden.

During the night, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that a fire had broken out in connection with shelling at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in south-east Ukraine. The fire has now been extinguished. It is believed that no elevated radiation levels have been measured.
