Orange warning regarding wind and snow in the mountain range
On Thursday 1 February, snow and very strong winds, up to local gales, are expected in the mountain range from Jämtland County and northwards. SMHI has therefore issued orange warnings for wind. No hiking is recommended in mountainous areas.

🔶 SMHI has issued an orange warning for wind and snowfall in the mountains on Thursday and strongly advises against travelling in the area. This applies to mountain areas in northern Dalarna, Lapland and Jämtland County.

🔶 SMHI has issued an orange warning for wind in combination with snowfall for the northern and the Middle Lapland mountains. The warning is valid January 8 at 00:00 - January 10 at 23:00.

🔶 On Wednesday occational snowfall in combination with wind can cause problems in traffic from northeastern Skåne over Blekinge to southern Kalmar county. The warning applies from midnight the night to 3 January.
