Several dead after school shooting

The intervention concerns a shooting with multiple casualties. The public is asked not to go to the school or hospital. Region Örebro writes that six people have been taken to the University Hospital in Örebro. Police updates

Update 19.18: Police believe that the offender is one of the dead persons and acted alone. However, it cannot be ruled out that there are other perpetrators linked to the incident. Police work at the crime scene continues and during the afternoon several investigative actions have been carried out at different addresses in Örebro.

Update 18.05: Around ten people have been killed in the incident and police are now working to identify the casualties. It is unclear at this stage how many people have been injured.
